This accessory is not supported by this device

I've got an iPad Pro running 10.2.1 and in the last few weeks it keeps displaying the message "this accessory is not supported by this device."

Problem is nothing is plugged in to it!

Any idea of a fix?

Ah yes I am. However it's never complained before...

If you can't type when the error comes up then Yes, that's it. Huge problem. Check the Apple support page. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Yep, this is a problem I've just started having as well with my iPad keyboard.. Super frustrating.

Apple just swapped my keyboard for a new one despite it being 45 days out of warranty. So far the issue has gone.

Glad you posted, OP!! I was having the same issue on my iPad Pro as well. I called Apple and after some diagnostics over the phone, I'm heading to the Genius Bar to swap out the keyboard. Nice!!
