u can just restore to 5.1 cuz restore to 5.0.1 frimware many days ago keep closed by apple
if i understand properly ur meaning

Shsh blobs. Research what they are and do.
Only firmware Apple allows to restore to is the latest version out.

Those 3.0 days where you shift or option restore with itunes to whatever firmware you want are unfortunatelly over.
