This is probably obvious to most but if your unhappy with the new ipads battery life, as i am, reduce screen brightness by at least 33% it makes a HUGE difference. Im still going to return he ipad within 2 weeks as i don think its that much better than ipad 2 yet but this will make using it more bearable for the time being

So your iPad now has 90 hours of batery life?

Lol not even close. Since i was getting about 4 hours with full brightness I'd say it sould last 40 now. Ive been using it for an hour now and battery reads 97%. With full brightness i was down to 75% or less after only an hour

Keep it between 50 and 60 and you'll get a full day's use out of it, unless your watching video for a few hours or playing a really long session of Infinity Blade II.

33% is way too dim during the daytime. for the ipad2 maybe, but the ipad3 is much dimmer overall....unless i have a defective one

I think he means set it at about 66% or less...

I also believe the screen is a bit dimmer, so I prefer 100% although about 80% is fine too. Below that is only useful for reading in the dark, at least on mine.
