Consider yourself lucky. For those of us still using the 3G, this is EXACTLY what it is like. I get so angry when I have to wait for the damn thing to respond to my constant tapping on the screen.

I want iPhone 4 so badly, but waiting for white. Could care less about the blown-out-of-proportion antenna issue. :)
My condolences.

I went through a jailbreak 2G iPhone. I too had been tempted to throw it against a wall but sold it before I could unleash my fury with it. I even dropped it accidently on concrete and stopped caring after it happened. Loving my 4.

All these complaints about the iPhone 4 and people can't appreciate how far the iPhone has gotten after two years. Give me a iPhone 4 w/ bumper over a perfect 2G/3GS with underpowered hardware.

Enjoy that white iP4 eventually. Worth the wait and the upgrade from a 2G/3G.

I strongly recommend staying on 3.1.3 if you have a 3G, iOS4 works great on 3GS.

That video reminded me of my 2G iPhone experience on 3.0.

Good times! =)

iOS 4.0 basically divided two generations of iPhones. 2G/3G and 3GS/4

The older models simply can't hang with the latest two. This reminds me of Gingerbread being released later this year where the latest Android will divide the high-end vs low-end. The underpowered will get the axe when it comes to support. You want to experience the best, you better get the best.

This makes some sense as the old phones have ARM11 and the new ones Cortex A8.

However they could probably make it run just fine if they wanted to.

People really are missing the point entirely here.

The 3G worked fine before, iOS4 is just terrible on the device, and should never have been put on it.

Apple should let people downgrade officially

Think i'm gonna hold off on Iphone 4 until the antenna issue is resolved....even then I might switch for a non apple product.

Now you're talking! There are many other non-Crapple products that cost far less money and do more than the iPhone does. Only difference is that they're not surrounded by all the media hype that Apple is.

no-ones forcing you to upgrade to iOS4...

That is just a stupid statement. Anybody can reasonably expect that when they do a software upgrade, that will work fine, otherwise there should be an obvious warning that "Don't bother, this software upgrade will probably make you to pull your hair out!"

I haven't upgraded yet, but my girlfriend has and she hates it on her 3G. Apparently, she cannot go back to the previous version. Personally, I left iPhone OS where it was when I jailbroke my phone. Folders is the only thing I miss, anyway.

This thread =Epic Fail:rolleyes:

This post proves that this phrase is completely meaningless.

Excellent contribution, sir.

And what makes it epic? I hope you don't mind me asking. Because something tells me I'm not going to remember it tomorrow.
