I experimented with an NES emulator for my iPhone. It was okay but I am not a fan of the controls. I need a controller. It is great for being able to play old NES games but the controls are in the way for me.

i totally agree. The controls on the iPhone are very obtrusive. I have the emulator on my ip+PHone as well and never use it because of that reason.

The controls pictured are the default, but Ive changed them to the smaller ones that work great! the screen space on the iPad is perfect!

It would be nice to use the iPhone as a Bluetooth Joy Pad for those emu's.
A controller via Camerakit would be even cooler.

There's a hack for the iPhone that lets you use the WiiMote. Don't know if it works with the iPad though.

What I really want to see is a hack with the PS3's dualshock3 controller. It feels so much more comfortable than holding a wii remote and it's the only controller I have right now.
