Now that I have an iPhone, I can try out Continuity.

This was the result of calling myself with the home phone.

My iPhone 5 and iPad Air play Eminence Front (custom ringtone I made) when a call comes in. Wanted to get the MBP to play the same custom ringtone, but can't figure out how. If I could, it would be like the OP.

I kinda wish it could detect when they are <1m from phone and not do this, it'd minimise the stress lol. Plus I sometimes get it still ringing up to 3 seconds after answering on one, annoying

Had my MBA, iPad and iPhones 5 & 6 all ring at once.
But didn't know I had set it up.

It was a bit of shock lol.

But did enjoy take a call on my new iPhone before the SIM was activated

Wish it worked for me. Retina iPad mini and an iPhone 6+, doesn't work.

It should work. All you need to do is singing same Apple ID in all your devices and allow iPad mini receive calls from your phone number. By the way, all devices need be in same Wi-Fi. Network

so far i had two people tell me that they thought they are going crazy, when they suddenly received a call on their ipad.

i guess not everyone reads about the new features 😛

I've done all that. Turned on the call option in FaceTime and the handoff toggle on both devices. Both are on the same wifi router and I inly have one Apple ID. I've had both side by side and compared, their settings are identical. Handoff works, calls do not. Nothing she. Receiving a call, fails when trying to make one. I even toggled off and back on and then restarted both devices. Still doesn't work.
