Can i blow out the speaker on the iPhone 3GS? A couple of the ringtones I have are quite loud, and I don't wanna damage the speaker. anyone know?

Yes and no. Yes you can blow out the speaker of the 3GS. No because Apple placed a restriction on the sound level of your iPhone's speaker, and thus won't go over that saving your speaker from blowing.

Thanks Jav! I downloaded a ringtone on myxer and it sounded insanely loud, maybe its because my other custom ones i made were lower volumes and i wasnt used to it. Thats cool about the restriction!

Just don't play loud sounds, the restriction Apple placed will make the sound hear awful if the limit is reached. Like a nanny telling you, "You are going a bit far, don't you think you should chill?"
