Hey Guys.Well like i said i am not the brightest bulb on the apple tree (um) but i had this idea.Should i sell my refurb mac mini 1.83 and purchase a new one with 2gb of ram or just send my refurb mini to the local store and pay 100 bucks plus 3rd party ram.
    Thanks for the advice.

why not add the ram yourself. 1 gig sticks are crazy cheap....like 30 bucks

buy the time you sell it and take it to effect of buying a new one you are prob looking at the same price.

especially if you go up to the 2.0-2GB.

apples ram is SO over priced. so i dont know. it really depends on how much you get for your refurb. Why do you want to do this anyway? what you have isnt bad.

There is nothing wrong at all with it.Its just that i dont wanna crack it open myself.I have big clumsy hands and i dont wanna kill the mini by making a mistake.I have checked around my neighborhood and the only apple tech is going to charge me 100 bucks for the installation. Also this is my first mac kinda and id have a new mini plus a box.I suppose i should just get a 3gb kit and pay the guy $100.00 to do it.Im not very sure.
