I'm going to go ahead and say no on this one. I don't like the idea of the always visible dock that they mention in the article, and already hate seeing pillars when watching HD. I seriously hope I don't have to stare at them on my phone.

And... wouldn't a change in the aspect ration of the screen cause from problems for Apps? Then again, I'm sure the OS would correct for it.

No. Apple tells developers unequivocally to make their apps resolution independent.
Not being a developer, I had no idea of that. Very forward thinking on Apple's part!
I haven't heard this about the iPhone...
and Apple hasn't made it a requirement for the app store, so I'm going to call fake on this image. (Especially since the screen is crooked, as others have already pointed out)
Indeed. I think they definitely thought of future hardware changes. Very smart.
It isn't a requirement, but Apple has made sure to tell developers they should. Sort of a "hint hint, in the future we don't know if screen size will change so you should make it easier on yourself later."
the Screen Looks a little crooked. Looks fake to me. IMO, the iPhone will just keep its current form factor, and whats inside is what will change. That and a matte back.
Agreed. I guess it could be some prototype test device, but it looks pretty crappy IMO.
Well, now I'm curious. While I don't think the picture up there represents the next iPhone, can someone show us the languages Apple uses to encourage resolution independence from Apps?

And chances are any official documents would be under NDA, anyway. Though, it's not like that's stopped the information from getting out anyway...
