I've actually just started attending some very expensive Photoshop classes, and I can already tell y'all that it's photoshopped, and very horribly at that.

No. Apple tells developers unequivocally to make their apps resolution independent.

Although I have not seen any documentation, I would expect this to be true.

FWIW, this was true for the Newton development. So it would make sense that Apple did this for the iPhone/touch platform.

Very forward thinking on Apple's part!
