Wow, surprised that the idea/rumours of having an iPhone named the "X" existed three years ago.

and even "probably be the most technically advanced iphone". like every new released one

what an amazing post. not.

If he had posted a mockup with a notch, then that would be something. OTOH that could have been Tim Cook's alter ego on MR :)

That post actually three years ago, not two years ago.
BUT their guess was the 2015 iPhone was gonna be called the iPhone X. 2015 is 2 years earlier then the release of the actual iPhone X. I wasn’t commenting on when their post was made, but rather which iPhone release they said was gonna be called the iPhone X.

Have no idea why you felt the need to re-edit your Post to bold it. However, that's not what I was referring to. The initial post made by the OP in the thread you indicated was dated back in 2014 of April, that's three years ago, not two. But thanks for your over-explanation anyways.

Using the letter X for the unknown is a pretty common practice.
They weren’t using “X” as an unknown. They were saying it was the tenth iPhone so they were using the Roman numeral X.

Because pointing out when the initial post was made by the OP in the indicated thread has absolutely nothing to do with the content.
Simple reading comprehension. It’s WHAT he said, not WHEN he said it. If he said it 100 years ago, his guess was still off by 2 years.(2015 to 2017)
