This refurbished macbook or the latest

Hi forum!

Looking to buy my first macbook pro and trying to determine if I should get this refurbished one, or the latest, non-retina 2.3 GHz on this page.

I compared specs, but looking for someone to translate into real world meaning for me. I am a heavy app and web user, and I watch video, but I am not a gamer. I occasionally edit photos and videos.

You'd probably be fine with the refurb 2011 model.

Or, you could get the refurbished current model. Kind of middle ground.

Thanks. I guess I have the same question tho - looks like the main difference is the graphics card?

The newer model also has USB 3 and a better processor than the old one.
