Its the closest of them all in my opinion that looks like OS X [unless you get Style XP and one of the many OS X themes out there]. Yeah, not really close, but more so than their default blue. It's about time that MS made a new one, especially since Longhorn doesn't come out until next year

Get it playing full-screen, then ⌘-Tab to another running app. Instant movie desktop.

Just today I was talking to someone who thought Macs had great hardware, but crappy software. You heard me right. I thought he was on crack, but he mentioned gaming, and suddenly it all became so clear. I'm pretty sure he hasn't used a Mac any time recently, but my challenge to actually use the just released Tiger was met with skepticism.

And then I laughed when he couldn't work the fax machine.

I am LOVING the look of the iTunes App in mini player mode. Controls looking like a shuffle... Is this because it is a mac version of iTunes or is it something else.. Way cool...

It's just the iTunes widget. I prefer the actual mini-player mode which you can get in Windows or Mac, just type CONTROL-M for XP from memory. 🙂

I'm glad you like it. I love it when freeware and OS X combine so elegantly. The other screen savers work the same, but Cosmos just seems cooler to me than the others. BTW, you can add your own shots to the Cosmos screen saver by right-clicking on /System/Library/Screen Savers/Cosmos.slideSaver and selecting Show Package Contents, then opening Contents/Resources and dropping new pics there (you'll need an admin password).
