Guys, I've just updated to iOS 16.5 beta and all of a sudden when I go to play my music every song says "this song is not currently available in your country or region".

I'm in the UK. I've not changed any settings. I've check that my region is correct.

What's gone wrong?

Sounds like you have been "bit by a beta"

You could try to change your region (even if the region is reported as UK) to UK in your AppleID/Media & Purchases settings.

Thank you guys, I'll give this tip a try tomorrow. Will also post up in the beta thread.

Out of frustration, I done a couple of shut down and restarts and synced a few times and now I have almost all my songs running again. 3 songs didn't sync across (no idea which ones). And I also no longer have the album art.
