A question to all those that have he iPhone 11 pro in Gold. Does the gold color come off somewhat "rose gold" to your eyes?

I want to surprise my wife with a new 11 pro. She loves the previous rose gold of the 7plus. I'm hoping the current gold color has hints of rose gold. She would love that.

Unfortunately, it is not rose gold. However, the gold this year is BEAUTIFUL in person. The only reason I don't have one is because they were out of the gold Max when I swapped my 5.8" gold Pro.

I have the Gold XS Max and torn between the Max Pro Silver and Gold. Will the raw SS border be more prone to scratches even when using a case 100% of the time on the Silver? Love both colours...

TIA

It's fairly common to see scratches on the SS version, but if you search for "Cape Cod cloth" that's what people use to take care of any scratches on the SS models. How's your Gold held up, if I may ask? I'm thinking maybe Gold this year from my usual SG

Of course, my Gold XS Max is in prestine condition with no micro scratches at all. I’ve been using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case since day one. Very tight fit and not easy to remove, rubs against the Gold borders when removing to clean the phone and the case. Very impressed how the Gold SS has held up and why I’m leaning towards the Gold Pro Max again this year. Wanted to switch it up, but don’t want to deal with the micro scratches associated with the SS border.

thanks for your response though!

Well my wife has the gold one and she sees it as rose gold. I guess we all have different perceptions of vision so check it out in store and see what you think.

Beautiful phone though and goes very well with the blue leather case.

The camera array looks incredibly cool with the gold. Almost steampunk like, with the copper color against the brilliant gold. That copper might lend itself to the pinkish look.

The actual color on the back is much more neutral than past golds. less rosy I would say. In dim light, though, I see some shift to the rose color
