We just got our 2021 16" MacBook Pro.

It's really fast, it's really quiet, OK.

But what I didn't expect was the quality of the screen in combination with the excellent speakers. I watched some Gladiator and Black Hawk Down in the Apple TV (HDR and Dolby Atmos).

I felt like my eyes were about to pop out because of the insanely good contrast.

But what was even more impressive was the surround sound they got out of those speakers. I couldn't believe. That this was possible at all. The wind howling in the desert... catapults, footsteps, gunshots... how do they do that?

I have a large 5.1 home theater system (Anthem/Paradigm). Of course, the MacBook pro can't keep up with that, but couldn't help but start a manic giggle over how good this is. Seriously, WTF. ?

Apple did some serious homework getting the most out of this MacBook Pro package.

I found the speakers even worse than in the previous MBP. Such an artificial and unnatural sound enhancement. Most of acoustic musical instruments and classical music sound so bad ... Extremely boosted bass, space etc. Like some painted Barbie

The speakers are what impresses me the most for my new 16'' MBP. Though, my only comparison is my old 2015 MBP 15''.

When I play Bohemian Rhapsody from Apple Music on my 16” M1 Max I hear shuttering sound. There is growl in some music parts. I do not know if the problem is in song or speakers. Can someone try? Otherwise I would like the sound..

Of course speakers. By this artificial sound boost many distortions happen.

Try comparing with headphones to see.
