Those with 3.1 - A2DP volume controls on the iPhone?

Does 3.1 give the abilitiy to control the A2DP volume on the iphone? Since it comes out full blast it is all sorts of distorted on my MotorokrT505.

With my Sony bluetooth headphones the iPhones volume buttons still don't do anything. Its ok for me as the headphones have a volume control on them, but i see how it must be a huge PITA 🙁

Yeah it makes music over the Motorokr t505 a no go with out the ability to turn down the volume from the phone. Bummer.
