Nowadays, I use an Android tablet for movies watching. And I can Chromecast to my TV if multiple people want to watch.

I have started to watch all my tv shows on my 10.5 iPad when I am home or even on my iPhone 7 Plus when I am on my commute. I noticed that i can no longer focus on a tv show on an actual tv lol its kind of pathetic but i lose focus and end up playing with my phone not paying attention to what is going on

I know a guy who can help you.

Everything I watch myself, I watch it on my iPad 10.5. If I’m watching something with others, I do it on a 65” OLED with a good surround sound system.

To add on to what a bunch of others are saying, when I am watching something on my own, I will use the iPad to watch it. The exceptions are if I have to have my hands free (working on something) or I am watching something as background noise. (Nothing like watching an episode of hoarders to spur me into cleaning the whole house)
