Pre ordered this morning and the only thing left for 21st pickup was 512gb Max in silver. Live in a small town. Can’t belive I just paid $1570 for a phone.

Anybody else miss out on Pre order launch time but still get it on 21st?

Should have just ordered what you wanted and waited for it. It won't kill you to wait a few days.

This. I would cancel the order and just wait. It’ll likely ship on 9/28, so just a week after launch day.

Ya but they still have 64gb in my store for 21st. Just too small. Thinking of going to my carrier and getting the BOGO deal. Free 8+ for my daughter sounds great

If you’re looking for the 256 on launch day I’m betting you’ll be able to find one if you have an Apple store and a carrier store as options.

What’s I found interesting is that it looks like shipping dates for the 512 started to push back before the 64 and 256 for all of the SIM free versions, so maybe 512 is the more popular storage size this year (which sounds crazy to me).

I do have an ATT and Apple store in same mall.

For ATT they had 64gb in all colors, 1 silver 512gb and Golds in 512gb. This was at 7;30am PST

The most likely scenario is that they made much less 512GB phones than they did 64 and 256.

You in a small town so you’re screwing the employees over even more by abusing the return policy. I don’t get why people think it’s just acceptable to burn money. Returned iPhones get scrapped, period.

Screw the employees!? How in the world am I screwing anybody by buying a $1570 device!

Lol. If he doesn’t open the phone and merely switches for another phone there is absolutely no issue.

None at all, plus they get paid to do there job so anything I want. And I mean anything they must do! It’s all about the customer says Apple!

There is an issue, once an imei is burned the phone is done. It gets sent to be scraped for parts and sold as refurbished. If it’s unactivcted it should be fine to resell, but honestly I don’t care lol. Get the phone you want, can’t wait for mine!

I get the feeling you'll be able to walk into an Apple store on the 21st and buy most of them. Meanwhile, all of us (fools) are checking order status 50 times a day.

This I've seen before. Boom or bust.
