I took an old G3 Ibook and removed the paint from the inside of the top plastic and added my favorite picture. came out great.

Nice one - what was your technique for removing the paint inside the display cover?

That looks like the G3 Ice-Book (sub 800Mhz?), before they switched to the opaque white poly-carbonate “Snow” design of the 800/900Mhz model and of course the iBook G4s.

I used rubbing alcohol, it cut through the white paint pretty easy. Now that you mention it I think it was a G3 ICE-book I seem to remember doing the search on ebay as dual icebook.
