Nice one - what was your technique for removing the paint inside the display cover?

That looks like the G3 Ice-Book (sub 800Mhz?), before they switched to the opaque white poly-carbonate “Snow” design of the 800/900Mhz model and of course the iBook G4s.

I used rubbing alcohol, it cut through the white paint pretty easy. Now that you mention it I think it was a G3 ICE-book I seem to remember doing the search on ebay as dual icebook.

I myself had to 'customise' my G4 iBook when it arrived with the original owners (a school) details engraved in embossed security lettering on the front....bonus point for making the rodent connection ;)

Definitely a G3, the tray-loader is a dead giveaway as well. Awesome job with the picture, I suppose it's now a one of a kind mac.

British made sense and I already had a gut feeling that it would be music related, still thinking , I'll leave others to grind on it in the meanwhile ;)

Hey guys I need a 1gig so-dimm PC 2700 to max out the memory but all I have are 1gig PC5300’s. Anyone here willing to do a straight trade a 5300 for a 2100?
