Thoughts: Asking about lower-spec Macs.

A lot of people ask about lower-spec Macs to the suitability to their problem. There is usually a lot of analysis about whether the suggested solution would work.

The proper answer is “Buy the ****er - It does everything you’re asking for”.

I think OP is suggesting (perhaps facetiously/jokingly?) just always buy the top spec config, and don't consider any lower spec config.
