Hi all. I am probably the very first batch of iPad users who purchased the very first batch of the first generation iPad. At that time, the iPad 1st gen was equipped with an A4 chip. I enjoyed using it a lot mainly for casual purposes, like surfing on the internet, watching movies, checking e-mails, and listening to music. It’s like a very mobile computer with which I saw the future of the technology.

However, after several months, I sold the first gen of iPad probably due to its slow processing power. At that time, the iPad was slow at loading websites, and it was very heavy. I held that the mobile processors were still in a stage of development, and such technology was immature. Since then, I have never purchased an iPad. For a long time, I doubted the processing power of its CPU.

Now, I am glad to know the release of iPad Air third gen. The processing power of the iPad are now sufficient for daily use. It’s a truly life-changing device at an affordable and reasonable price.

Apple has come along ways with mobile processors. The cpu’s Inside of these iPads could easily drive a high end PC for sure. The power that they can pack in with these little A12’s is insane. The A12X is just stupid lol.

I get all excited about some compute power. I can’t wait to see the A13X in 2020/2021.

I really appreciate the power of A12. The loading speed of a website is on par with a PC.
