A couple weeks ago Apple released a new software update for both the iPad and iPhone, called 10.3.2.

I heard, despite it being an upgrade, from several websites that the upgrade has had some negative feedback -- mainly battery issues.

Has anybody installed the software update yet? And if so, thoughts/problems/likes and dislikes?

No issues here. Battery levels have been stable, if not improved. Stability wise as a whole, I have no complaints.

If you had to give a grade for it (A, B, etc.) or a rating from 1/10, how would you rate the new upgrade? Thank you for the feedback.

I own three iPhones. The iPhone 7/7+/6S Plus and I have updated them all to 10.3.2. They all have performed flawlessly with no main Noteable issues and the battery life has been stable. Although, it's only been a few days since I upgraded and I have not had the full opportunity to fully test all three devices.

At this point, I would say 8/10 would be the general score. However, I think I would need some more time to test all three devices further. But my experiences have been positive thus far. I wouldn't hesitate to upgrade if you were hesitant.

Is there any difference between the update on your iPhone and your iPad?

Updated my iPad three days ago and the performance as well as the battery life have been exceptional. Actually, I have yet to charge my iPad since the update.

Upgraded iPhone SE and iPad A2 from 10.2.x (whatever was the latest) to 10.3.2 a few days ago. Everything went fine, but it took a while. So far so good, no problems. 1. Seems to have fixed the issue in iPad with the orientation getting locked related to the software controlling the sensor getting messed up. 2. brought back the Delete All option for the Junk Mail folder in the mail client with Hotmail/Live. this is my first 10.3 release so maybe those fixes appeared in the earlier release.

Excellent ios 10.3.3 updated via ipad air, flying very smooth.
Iphone 6 was already on 10.3.3.

Bring ios 11 to push these devices to the limit of inovation.

    Is it still like this?

I'm still debating on upgrading or not. Sometimes leaving good things alone is the best thing, without running too many risks.

Similarly, my Macbook Air still encourages me to upgrade from El Capitan to Sierra -- though I love El Capitan. Hopefully they don't force it down people's throats, just make it optional.

Not that I've noticed, 10.3.3. Very smooth via ipad air.
Haven't used iphone 6 much past few days, though working as expected when required, sky q t.v./messaging etc.

Upgrade time is fast approaching, Guaridan today reporting ios11 wont be available 5 or 5c I presume 6 is next.

Which device to choose, ipad air upgrade is sensible from 2018.
Iphone upgrade-depends as costs are rising considerably, been sim only past year, it's the going from 18 ukpounds to I suspect +50 uk pounds any new iphone upgrade.

Exciting times though, I'll rreview Ipad options later this year or early 2018-simple choice ipad pro 9.7 or 10.5

Is there any prospect of a price drop with 9.7. Pro that would help immensly.

    Nah. There's still the 5s.

As for which one to upgrade, assuming both of your older devices are working fine otherwise, then upgrade the device you use most. For me, that's the iPad. Around 85-90% of my personal usage is on the iPad. :)

9.7 Pro has been discontinued so you might find some good clearance deals. Personally though, unless it's like $300 off or something, I'd much rather get the latest model.

I didn't know 9.7 Pro is being discontinued...Apple fazing out devices at rapid rate.

Unfortuantely I'll wait until 2018 when ipad air contract finishes.
As you kinldy advise where devices continue to work then at least I have some time.

Though as device costs rise as will mobile network provider costs also, I was temepted this year 9.7 pro-though it would have been very much less to purchase diirect from Apple-which would have left me 1 year ipad air contract to pay off, cannot justify upgrade at least for a few months or from early 2018.

Think I'll continue to review options and watch how costs develop.

I have decied 9.7 pro is excellent for my home use-not bothered about 10.5 and didn;t like some 2017 non pro comments..

I think a lot of people/Mac users enjoy the 9.7 or minis.

I wonder if people are still having success with the update
