Threads that I have replied to

It is a small thing, but, I have noticed lately that sometimes my avatar does not show exactly on the thread that I have already replied to.
In the example image below, for thread one and two, it is hard to say which thread I replied to. However, I know for sure it was the "Lifelong Windows..." thread.

In the fourth example, it is clear as day, which thread I replied to...

Platform, OS, Browser details?
 
Just looked at it on my MBP M1 Pro under both Safari and Firefox and it all looks good. No chrome for me but I am still running 13.5.2

Did it start with Sonoma?

Ad blocker? Might be messing up formatting.

(things look fine for me on all platforms for Safari)
