Been to three different apple stores in Madrid, The Hague and this morning to Frankfurt during the past three weeks trying to get my Macbook Pro screen repaired. I was told I cannot just hand in my macbook, I will need to go to the (bureaucratic) procedure of booking a slot with a genius. The screen of my Macbook is broken (physical damage) so without a doubt I need a new screen. Meeting a genius would not take more than 5 minutes but everywhere I have been so far I was told, sorry come back next week, we won't be able to help you this week. I have tried booking appointments online for the last store, but I was notified that at this moment online appointments cannot be booked. I am pretty pissed off about this. Fair enough, the first two visits were without trying to book an appointment online, so I may be to blame myself, but going to three stores in three countries where they were unable to help me seems to indicate a bigger problem. Perhaps Apple should hire more geniuses? Meanwhile I am still without a short-term solution and I guess its gonna take a few weeks more until I finally get my screen repaired. To me, this seems ridiculous for a premium product.
