So i have two Dell u2414h connected to my Retina Macbook Pro, 15" via the Thunderbolt/MDP ports.

When I try to plug in my TV via HDMI, nothing happens. When I unplug one of the monitors, and then plug in my TV, the TV works.

Is there some sort of restriction of having three displays plugged in?

    Super frustrating!

The MacBook Pro cannot drive 3 displays at the same time.

    Only the dGPU version

If you have the dGPU retina macbook it can drive 3 external screens the iGPU version will only do 2.
