iPad Pro Three instances of the Same APP ?

Which can you not have the same instances of the same APP running on your iPad ? Like for e.g. Two on split view and one in slide over ? Can you do that ? I tried with Apple Notes it ain't working for me !!
 
Works for me for notes but I’m not sure how I’d use it. I first got two into split screen then enabled slide over and dragged the third instance there.

Thats what i am doing, i open two instances of notes and then again go to the Dock and try to open notes as a slide over and it just gets into the other half of the screen converting into split view replacing the other half of the notes screen before that. What am i doing wrong ?
 
Just did it as well.You need to drag the 3rd instance over towards the divider of the split screen and hold it there a split second to change it into the slide over format. (This is actually true of any app you want to add as a slide over on top of a set of split screen apps.)

Yes this thing finally worked for me you have to take the notes in middle of the divider of the split view. To get a third slide over of the same APP. Thanks.
