Three plus hours at the Genius Bar

Ok, Mohave trashed my two month old iMac 27 inch Retina 4k. Arrived promptly for 12:20 appointment.
Now 3:35 and reloaded Mohave then restore TimeMchine backup.
The dumb machine just reboots, reboots etc.

Next step is to admit to ‘check out for 48 hours’.

At this point, going to tell them to reload High Sierra. Mohave is trash.

Tough luck. I installed Mojave the day it was released on my 2017 5k iMac and haven't had any problems thus far. Hope they get it fixed for you.

Not impressed with Genius Bar/service, great if you have an old iPhone.

My 27" iMac 2017 is running a lot better on Mojave, but it's booting really slow, and Mac App store won't show updates unless I refresh manually. Other than that everything works better. Even kernel extensions and drivers for my audio interface and monitor calibrator.

I am finding Mojave delightful compared to High Sierra

Loving Mojave so far. Only issue was that I didn't like the Recent Apps feature, but easily turned off.
