At the bottom of my home page between the mail icon and the photos icon there are 3 tiny circles. What are they? At least 1 of the circles is colored white on the right circle, and the white is sometimes in the center circle. I haven't read any thing about it. o o o
    Thanks for a reply

it shows what springboard page you're on. It changes as you swipe to another page. You can make upto 11 dots/springboard pages.

FYI: a 'springboard' is a page of apps. Swipe left and right to see other pages of apps you may have. This way you can have a lot of apps and keep them organised.

The leftmost one is a magnifying glass... If you swipe all the way to the left, you can search the iPad.

    Multiple choice:

    a. The three circles are a usage meter, informing you of how many points you've accumulated. To be rated an iPad Three Circle Level® and receive a free $10 iTunes gift card from Apple, you must have actively used your iPad an average of 5 hours per day for at least a month.

    b. Terror Threat Level as posted by the Department of Homeland Security.

    c. The empty circles are cameras, each shooting a different angle of your face so as to archive it in 3D as part of Google Facemaps.

    d. It's a tiny version of Tap Tap Revenge.

You mean "they're" watching you. They're means "they are", where as "their" means someone owns something, like "that's their iPad". Finally, "there" refers to location. As in "we're almost there". You're welcome! (You're=You Are)

Thanks to all who posted a meaningful explanation. No one ever mentioned those 3 circles before nor have I read anything about it. Thanks

It's funny how one can get a lesson in grammar in the most unexpected of threads.
