through airport scanner ..

I have taken my laptop through the screeners many times. No harm done.

I never had any problems going thru the security scanners except needing to take it out of my backpack.

On another note, I flew out of JAX about a week ago, and went through one of those contraptions that blows puffs of air all over your body to sniff for explosives...kinda neat.

if you don't know ask. Most airport scanners will now tell you that they are laptop safe, but if your not sure ask. They may be willing to take it out and hand check it for you
