No GS/OS pillow??!
That's coming with the IIGS Plus! It has 1 MB of RAM and a SCSI port included.

I had SO MUCH fun with my GS in high school. But the IIGS was overpriced, underpowered, and not properly supported.

Jobs wanted to kill the Apple II for years. It was never developed properly going into the Scully years.

Yes, I have a lot of resentment. 30 years later. Yes, it's petty and childish. I don't care....

Don't care about the blankets, but when the Mac OS came out in the mid-1980s the menu bar across the top was such a great thing. For those of us who are old enough to remember the DOS days, whether it was MSDOS, PCDOS, or some other proprietary version of DOS, there were no built in menu systems. Every programmer did his/her own thing and every app had a unique interface. It took longer to learn those unique interfaces due to the total lack of a uniform menu system. Mac OS solved that by forcing a uniform menu system and for the first time you could open any app and quickly know how to get around in it and accomplish the basics. That was huge to us old timers from back then!

I have two of their older blankets, and they are incredibly soft and popular in my house for that reason.

what interface in the terminator?..
I gotta rewatch Terminator to find the scene. It's where we get to see through the T-800's eyes. I was trying to find in on the Web, but so far nothing.😑* I did learned the T-800 used the 6502 chip (same as Apple II) and runs Apple II code.:) Now I need to find my Terminator DVD to see if I can find and screencap for my sanity's sake.

*There is good chance I might have melded two different memories.😩

It's funny. I've freeze framed the Terminator vision scenes. I was more interested in reading everything popping up on screen to pay attention to the interface. I'll have to rewatch.

Disorienting...seeing that first blanket design, I had a sudden flashback to when Mac OS was actually intuitive.

I believe these fall under the category of derivative works since the logo in the corner isn't an :apple:. It's just like when the movie Terminator where the T800 has a Mac interface, but the :apple: is replace by a skull.

if something is copyrighted, you still need a license to make a derivative work from it. The fact that you may also be able to get your own copyright on the changes doesn’t mean you get the rights to the underlying work.
