Thumbnails of pictures in folder - is it hard for mac?

I wondered what the problem was until I realised this thread started in 2007!

Thanks now I know how view thumbnails.

Ther reason I want to view thumbnails is so I can identify a photo then to drag to a folder. Is this possible without having to select, copy and paste them manually?

Ehm, just drag them to another folder (in a different tab or finder window)
