I have lots of hard drives and I would like to get a thunderbolt enclosure that I could put multiple hard drives in side of so they could connect to a new iMac and I could access all of the drives at the same time. Is there an enclosure like this that anyone can recommend?

    No such product exists, unfortunately.

The only current way around this at the moment is to purchase a thunderbolt dock/hub with a USB 3 or eSATA port, and then purchase an empty USB3/eSATA hard disc enclosure and connect through the hub. It's a mess, but that's all there is.

Qnap reportedly have a Qnap BYOD enclosure in the pipeline (the JTB-400), but I haven't seen any further information regarding it since its announcement in June(?). It was slated for an autumn release, but we are now in autumn and there has been no update. The word is that it will be expensive when (if?) it does arrive.
