I imac9556 macrumors 6502a Dec 7, 2013 #2 Where did you find this? In the original manual card they include in the box?

If this is true, then it is a reprint, because the original documentation comes with a Mountain Lion desktop background and the text "Thunderbolt", not "Thunderbolt 2". Can you check what the Apple system profiler says about your Thunderbolt port!?

A arnistotle2000 macrumors newbie Original poster Dec 7, 2013 #5 Yeah this was in the manual in the box, just got it from UPS yesterday. I can take a screenshot of the system profiler but I wouldn't have the slightest idea whether or not it's thunderbolt 1 or 2.

D dbroncos78087 macrumors regular Dec 8, 2013 #6 It must be a typo of some sort: 5.Which Macs have Thunderbolt 2 ports? The following models are Thunderbolt 2 capable: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013) MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) Source: Apple
