In that one place
I need to add another TB3 dock to my 2018 Mini to drive some SSDs. All the docks I see out there are expensive ones with video out and big power supplies which does 0 help since my Mini is a desktop.
Anyone know a good TB3 dock without video and is nothing but a ton of ports?

I need to go Thunderbolt 3 as my Mini's 4 ports and extra from an existing Caldigit TS3 are full.

Hmm might be hard to find one without video since that is a “free” feature of TB. And I assume they all have power bricks since they are meant to charge laptops.
There’s no “unpowered usb hub” style equivalent that I know of.

Yea, I realized that video is kind of a freebie of having Thunderbolt after I made the post.
Hmm oh well. I already have so many power bricks and wallwarts from my externals and hubs, the last thing I want to do is add an additional 65w power brick to my collection.

Something like this? From the surface it looks like a TB hub but not sure if it's only USB C.
I feel like I was just having a conversation about how annoying USB C connectivity is on the surface.
Anyway, it's got the lightening bolts so I think that means it's TB 🤞.

Looks good, the price isn't that friendly but it'll do. I wouldn't need to do this if the two A ports were USB 3.2 but whatever.
