thunderbolt and firewire?

So the new iMacs are getting thunderbolt..would that automatically mean they'll leave out the firewire? Im wondering because i'll most likely want to use a firewire audio interface with it..it would suck if they left it out cuz of thunderbolt 🙁

What makes you think that? The new MBPs that have thunderbolt also have firewire.
