Thunderbolt Cable to Hdmi

Hey guys i am having a problem with my thunderbolt cable, why can't it retrive signal from tv, on mavericks and mountain lion it used to work but know it dosn't, same thing on bootcamp, any suggestion on how to solve it?

- I'm not sure I am understanding your problem correctly. If I am, you have an HDMI-HDMI cable that you use with a miniDisplayPort to HDMI adaptor to connect to your TV. And that connection no longer works.

If this is correct, what I'd do is just get a proper miniDisplayPort to HDMI cable and use that instead - it's more elegant and you'll have less parts that can break.
