Does anyone have any issues with the thunderbolt display and the ethernet connection? My speeds slow down dramatically and even has trouble loading 240p youtube videos. I'm using a retina mbp and my internet works perfectly fine when its not connected to thunderbolt display and just using a regular thunderbolt ethernet adapter.

If anyone could help out or have any idea why this happens please post any solutions.

I have the same issue as above, but over an afp network. The internet is fine, and file transfer works via wi-fi (albeit slow) but is VERY slow via the adaptor. An iMac I have (using a standard direct ethernet jack connection) copying from the same afp connection works fine.

Any suggestions?
