Thunderbolt display for Mac Pro?

I was going to buy an Apple Cinema Display but thought of future-proofing by getting an Apple TBD. Just one question...how would I connect it to the Mac Pro, is this even possible? Haven't bought yet, just wondering, thanks!

Thunderbolt display won't work at all, get an ACD instead.
