I have a question that I might already know the answer to. Let's say you connect to a dock via thunderbolt, then run an HDMI cable to an external monitor. Is graphic performance still based on the MacBook Pro's iGPU/dGPU or does the dock have it's own cheap graphics chip built in?

Thanks in advance.
