A roll your own bus powered SATA3 2.5 inch Thunderbolt case is my holy grail. I hope that this is it.

That last one troubles me. Are Apple and Intel blocking the sale of bare thunderbolt cases? If so, that's pretty screwed up. Also the translated pricing doesn't seem right. Adding a 120GB to it would make the Lacie a bargain.

I also found it mentioned on a Taiwan reseller site. Here it was listed as 32-64GB which gives credence to it not being offered bare. At least it seems like they are lowballing the drive for people that just want to pull it. Full specs on the site but you have to inquire for the pricing:
