Thunderbolt hub/dock for M1 Mac Mini, that provides USB outs and an additonal SSD?

Just picked up a used Mac Mini (M1), and - not surprisingly - am now looking for a hub/dock to expand its USB connectivity and storage.

I do not require any additional monitor outputs, or networking options. Just USB ports and another SSD.

What would you recommend, that is reliable, silent, and fast (wrt the SSD) - and also, that the Mini can sit neatly on?

If you will be using a fast SSD in a dock you'll want a thunderbolt, not USB dock.
