Now with the new iPad Pro (2021) supporting Thunderbolt Port does that mean iPad Pro will now have full external display support ?

Nope, not until iPadOS 15 by the looks of it.

So now we have the Hardware it is now upto the iPad OS to.complete the formalities as far as the External Display Support is concerned right ?

Yes but it’s arguably been that way since 2018. The ipads port was not holding it back, it’s the software. There’s no guarantee Apple do any thing in this area. I’m waiting until October now to see if these things are really worth it.

Yeah, any full monitor support is not reliant on this h/w change. There already is significant support in iOS for apps to adjust to the monitor but they aren't making use of it - waiting for Apple to do the same with native apps and screens?

And so we will have to keep an eye on what iPad OS 15 has to offer right ?

Why not with iPadOS 14.5 like what Apple did with Magic Keyboard?
Because they would have mentioned that? They didn’t at all, in fact they showed it working just as it always has in the demo videos.

They wouldn’t add something everyone’s been asking for silently and not mentioned it in the hardware announcement 🤣

14.5 Developer Release has happened - it's not there.

- on 42:30 - it mentions full screen support up to 6K on the XDR. Was that just app specific or the entire OS?
Same question for me - seemed like that’s what they were implying...but hard to say for sure. I just got the Air 4, and if the new Pro has full screen plus Face ID, higher refresh, etc., then I was weighing the return for my Air.
