Max Supported Resolution - 1920x1080p, 12-bits / channel, or 12*3 = 36bits on all channels.

This device is not Bidirectional. It can only connect a Mini-DisplayPort source to an HDMI display. It will not work in reverse.

Thunderbolt compatible

Note: This product will support audio on Mac computers capable of outputting audio through mini-displayport. Additional configuration may be required, results may vary depending on mac model and OSX version installed

Note* Some models of Mac’s the connector may block access to the adjacent USB accessory port."

Concerning the "Note*" -- Has anyone had the issue of using the TB port and losing access to the adjacent USB port? I'm about to order this from monoprice regardless but that sucks if you lost 1 out of 2 USB ports just by using this cable... I have an 2011 MBP and want this so I can watch movies on an external monitor/TV....

I HATE APPLES ADAPTERS! get it?

why are they so short? you can find a connection from thunderbolt to anything on amazon, dont be a fanboy.

No adapter, just cable

No, absolutely not a problem at least on the 2011 models, unless you want to use a really big USB plug.

Sorry this is a little late but is there a good converter to display my Xbox 360 on my 28" iMac 2011 Late with TB? The Kanex xd is not compatible, and I want to get HD performance on the display. Either 720 or 1080 p is fine. Please help!

Well if the thunderbolt port works as input and not just output you can use mini display to hdmi adapter

So I would plug that into my TB port? Sorry I just recently got my iMac so I'm not sure about the differences between mini display and TB

Well I'm not sure the iMac works as a monitor but if it does than you should be able to go Xbox to hdmi to hdmi-mini display port adapter and that will go to the thunderbolt port

Mini display port and thunderbolt are the same port

Maybe a hdmi to USB would work...what do you think?

Moshi sucks

My t.b. to HDMI is a moshi. It's crap. I've sent 2 back on warranty and they last only about 4-6 months then just stop working. 30-40$ range. It's crap.
