Hi have mid 2012 base model 13'' MBP with High Sierra.
I bought a thunderbolt to hdmi cable to connect my mac to my tv and watch movies.
The problem is that every now and then, I'd say every 10 minutes, the TV receives no input from the mac for 5-6 seconds and the tv screen turns black. The movie continuous to run and then everything turns back to normal.
I've had this problem with all the previous OS, haven't tried with another thunderbolt-hdmi cable because I don't have one. What do you think could be the issue? my mac or the cable?
