Thought I'd post these snaps for the PPC folks... I was preparing the one on the left for sale (Mercury) and I though I'd take a couple quick shots of it hanging out with my more recently-acquired Antimony version. I don't know what alchemy Apple performed on the cells back then but both machines have batteries that still last a decent amount of time. I was lucky to find two rigs that are relatively clean and have decent paint.

Beautiful TiBooks!

If the batteries are stored separately to the Mac when in long term storage, then in theory, they should be able to stand the test of time in the same way New Old Stock does, is that right?

I've had mixed luck with batteries, but when I bought my 1 GHz TiBook a couple years ago, it came with an Apple branded battery that still held a full charge.... and it still does.
