There was a store on NPR Planet Money about how music festivals are going instinct. A lot was said about how there was a huge bump in attendance after Covid but nowadays GenZ's don't like to go to festivals...they don't even like going out in public, don't have friends to go with, etc. There was also a lot said about how "everything is more expensive now", i.e. tour bus rentals, gas, venue rentals and setup, yada yada. The one thing I never heard in the story was the fact that TicketMaster has completed F'd the industry and turned so many people off buying tickets simply because the fees have gone too far.
