tiger(garageband) on leopard

Is it possible to put garageband from tiger onto leopard,ive both
the 10.4.6 install disks.i tried putting in disk 2 (which is were i thought garageband was) but it asked for 1 first

It is on disk2 I think, but you need to start from disk1.
When you insert disk 1 there should be a link to install "components only".
When the install starts there should be a "Customize" button for you to select which components you want to install. Garageband will be in the list.
Worked for me.

Yes it will recognize any garageband updates and install them.
