Well, it would come after OSX Tiger and then OSX Lion... Ligers are now my favorite animals!!!

And don't forget Tigons, which are much rarer and apparently smaller than Ligers.

I was reading about these several months ago - really quite fascinating.

Tigons or Tions are dwarf versions, Ligers are the giant versions. It depends on the sex of the mating couple.

Ligers make for the biggest of the big cats...move over Siberian Tiger...

Please, no! Ligers are not naturally occurring wild animals, they are freaks created as a result of unnatural (manmade) conditions. There are so many graceful WILD cats out there to use as names for OS X.

My suggestions :
Mac OS X 10.5 Cheetah
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

wow never knew all of that stuff, interesting indeed, Tigers are my favorite big cat out there, so im happy with Apple's choice in marketing LoL

I thought Cheetah was the codename for 10.0, and Puma for 10.1.

It was mentioned in another thread that Apple have trademarked Lynx, Leopard, and Cougar for future OS X releases.
